Mongolian Nomads

Nomadic culture is still pervasive throughout Mongolia. Here, Tserma who is 65 years old tends to her cows, sheep and goats with the help of her nieces and nephew. When winter comes Tserma packs up her 2 Gers, leaves her cows and goats with a friend and heads into the hills seeking shelter from the harsh Mongolian winter. Even since her husband passed 7 years ago, Tserma still lives nomadically.
